about: Grimspound is a late bronze age/early iron age settlement on Dartmoor. The roundhouses can be seen within the compound. I was having a real problem with writers block - I had loads of tunes, but no lyrics. So one day I took myself and my guitar off to Dartmoor, sat in the largest roundhouse, communed with the Spirit of Place, and this song was the result. I would thoroughly recommend visiting the site, it is breathtakingly awesome.
